    Housing Improvement Reports

    MPHA has earned more than $136 million from HUD since 1992 for making comprehensive capital and management improvements in public housing throughout Minneapolis. The following report illustrates how much of that funding has been obligated (put under contract for planned work) and expended (spent and paid on completed capital and management improvements.)

    MPHA has completed renovations on all 40 of its highrise apartment buildings throughout the city. The following report summarizes that work by location, neighborhood and city ward:

    MPHA is in the process of developing 770 family housing units to replace units demolished or disposed of through the Hollman lawsuit Consent Decree. These units are being developed on the city’s near northside, in outlying Minneapolis neighborhoods and suburban communities. The following report summarizes development activity to date:
